There was a great gathering at the Innovation Cities Roadshow which attracted a wealth of business start up, leading local and international brands as well as key innovation academics.
After receiving warm a welcome by Michael McAleer, Innovation Editor, The Irish Times, Timothy Brundle, Director of Innovation identified the importance of innovation and the universities success with local companies. Brian Laverty from Vodafone Ireland educated attendees in new way if working and then we heard from John Ried, RepKnight a serial entrepreneur before a number of interactive presentations from Maurice Mulvenna & Angela Reavey.
The star of the show was the keynote speaker Norman Crowley, Crowley Carbon – what an inspirational entrepreneur with a candid, real life glimpse of a worldwide success from this island.
